About The Love Atom
A philosophy for modern living
Our mission is to promote character strengths and virtues to encourage collaborative harmonious growth for the individual, community, and world. During conflict, finding common ground and solutions are often a challenge, especially when we don't recognize our own blind spots and take mental short cuts. Learning about ourselves and others through the lens of character strengths, virtues, and human differences is the journey toward positive well-being.

Our vision is a humanity where disagreements are communicated without destructive attitudes, where love is at the center of all communication.

The design was created in 2017 by Christine M. Nelson in her efforts to define what love is. Inspired by Charles Sanders Peirce's theory of Evolutionary Creative Love, as well as Aristotelian Virtue Ethics, each virtue orbiting in the Love Atom is a key component in Agape Love.
